As a growing professional workplace design consultant, EPD’s Shanghai office is a combination of our passion and experience. With limited space, thought was put into understanding the real needs of the user experience and maximizing the function while keeping an elegant and home-like feeling.
Rather than defining the design requirements for our own office, we began with a Workplace Strategy study of our staff; using the results as a way to dig out the real needs of the EPD Shanghai team. We gathered insights around the brand, staff well-being, daily task and visitor needs, and technical goals like acoustics and lighting, along with incorporating innovative ideas.
